Privacy
Short version: you give us your name, email and whether you play or run a league. We use it to tell you when early access opens. Nothing else, no tracking, no cookies.
Who we are
The data controller is {{CONTROLLER_NAME}}, trading as Shooot. Questions or requests: {{CONTACT_EMAIL}}.
What we collect
- Name and email address, as you type them into the waitlist form.
- Role: whether you signed up as a player or a league organiser.
- When you signed up, plus your browser’s user agent and the page you came from, to help us spot abuse and see where sign-ups come from.
- A one-way hash of your IP address, used only to limit repeat sign-ups. We do not store your IP address itself.
Why, and our lawful basis
We use your details to email you about Shooot early access: when it opens and what you need to know. Our lawful basis is your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), which you give by submitting the form. You can withdraw it at any time.
Who handles it
- Neon (Postgres database), provided through Vercel and hosted in the EU, stores the waitlist.
- Vercel hosts this website and the sign-up function.
- Resend sends us an email notification when someone joins, and will send you any early access emails.
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. These providers act as our processors and may process data outside the UK under standard safeguards.
How long we keep it
Until early access ends, or until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your details, whichever comes first.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent, any time, by emailing {{CONTACT_EMAIL}}. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
